“Tobi!” is a delightful new animated series that tackles tough global themes in a gentle, preschool-friendly manner. Each episode turns complex social and environmental topics into clear and gentle stories that both entertain and educate our young audience. Our hope is to prepare a new generation to face the social and environmental challenges ahead by encouraging a greater awareness of others and our world.
Little Airplane, along with our broadcasters, Treehouse TV and Nickelodeon Australia, decided to launch “Tobi!” on UNICEF’s International Children’s Day of Broadcasting because the goals of the series align perfectly with UNICEF’s stated mission to “advocate for the protection of children’s rights, to help meet their basic needs and to expand their opportunities to reach their full potential.”
Quality children’s programming encourages young children to adopt favorite characters as influential role models. A series like “Tobi!” allows preschoolers to become aware of the world around them and also empowers them to make a difference in the world in both large and small ways.
